When our new clients shared their vision for an Après-ski-themed event at the Signia Hotel in Atlanta, the idea was to transport guests into a wintery scene reminiscent of the snowy slopes of Aspen, Colorado. The centerpiece? A ski lift-inspired photo experience surrounded by a breathtaking alpine atmosphere. Rather than outsourcing the fabrication, I embraced the challenge myself. Drawing on years of hands-on creative experience, I set out to design and craft a custom ski lift-inspired installation that would serve as the centerpiece of the entire activation. Now, I've always had a passion for creating things from scratch. There's something incredibly satisfying about taking an idea that exists only in someone's imagination and transforming it into something you can actually see, touch, and experience.

        So, when the opportunity came along to design and handcraft a ski lift replica, I was GENUINELY excited! I mean, come on... A SKI LIFT?! How often do you get the opportunity to build one of those? The vision was bigger than simply creating a place to take pictures. We wanted to bring the slopes to Atlanta by creating a snow-covered environment that captured the charm of a mountain getaway while showcasing the Teladoc Health and Hinge Health brands.

          And with a little imagination, some serious craftsmanship, and a whole lot of excitement, we brought that vision to life! This was one of our favorite experiential marketing soirees to date!

THE EXPERIENCE

 As guests from all around the country entered the event space at the Hotel, they were stunned by the transformation. What they encountered was a snowy alpine environment complete with snow-covered trees, mountain scenery, ski equipment, and a ski lift-inspired photo area that looked like it belonged at a winter resort. And, of course, everybody wanted their moment on the ski lift!

         Guests settled into the cozy chair lift, grabbed their ski poles, and struck their best après-ski poses while enjoying a professional photography-style experience. But the excitement didn't stop when the camera flashed. The amazed occupents were equally wowed by the quality of their printed photographs. What began as a fun photo opportunity became a memorable keepsake they could take home and share with others. This all of course, helps spread their brand identities collectively.

         The smiles, laughter, surprised reactions, and excitement surrounding the experience were exactly what we wanted to create.

THE RESULTS

   We brought the snow. The guests brought the smiles. And the memories traveled far beyond Atlanta! Through social sharing, the activation generated a total reach of 3,668 and 12,358 impressions, extending the visibility of Teladoc Health and Hinge Health beyond the event itself.

         The immersive winter environment captured guests' attention, while the ski lift-inspired experience encouraged participation and created opportunities for branded social sharing. Professional-quality creatives and impressive printed keepsakes added another dimension to the experience, giving guests something tangible to remember long after the event ended.

         The activation demonstrated how a thoughtfully designed environment, interactive guest experience, and quality photography could work together to create memorable moments while supporting brand visibility.
